Born in New Jersey,
Linda Lee has been in love with art ever since she could pick up crayons and draw on the wall. As a teen she moved to
Miami with her family, later followed a long career in the Hospitality Industry, which included event planning for Hotels,
Resorts and even foreign ports of call and onboard cruise ships.
Always
dabbling in clay when she found the time, she created pieces for family and friends only. Her surroundings
inspire Linda’s fun and whimsical style along with her collection of vintage treasures and textiles. Linda’s
signature style is applying hand formed sculptural pieces to handmade platters, bowls, teapots and other serving pieces.
Making each piece unique but also functional at the same time.
After
many weekend getaways with her (now former) husband... to the quaint seaside town of Fernandina Beach they decided
to purchase a second home on Amelia Island in 1996, which inspired her to pursue her art full time. Experiencing
great success selling her hand sculpted tiles and knobs on eBay, resulted in the building of her home studio, later a website
and now living full time on the island she opened ChocoLate Soup, A Ceramics Bakery & Studio.
ChocoLate Soup is a do it yourself ceramic studio that offers unique bisqueware ceramic painting,
group parties and personalized painting instruction. Commission work and private events can also be arranged.
Located in the heart of historic district where the peaceful surroundings add a residential feeling to a family oriented
